Level 10 Free-to-Play Build (Best Early Game Setup)
Which build should you pick at level 10 as a free-to-play player? This is a proposal for F2P players who are actively leveling up. It is tuned to smooth progression and adds comfort for the heavy gold costs on the road to endgame. The setup also brings a moderate but steady XP bonus that helps if you are pushing toward the top. If you plan to play regularly and you are free to play, this build is a strong fit.

Perks unlocked and why
Nothing in Strength, nothing in Perception. That may look extreme at level 10, but you cannot afford every branch yet. This composition focuses on gold income and XP gain. It favors volume over quality.

Gift of Fate
Tier 2 · 2 pts in Luck
A small Luck investment early on. Gift of Fate improves odds on bigger fish without maxing the Luck tree yet. The boost adds a (very) small gold gain on every trip.

Master of Reaction
Tier 2 · 2 pts in Reflex
Not the main goal of this build (Durable Gear is the priority), but it gives you more time to hook epic fish and tougher monsters. A welcome bit of comfort when you want every fishing session to count.

Durable Gear
Tier 3 · 3 pts in Reflex
This perk is the main reason you spent 3 points in Reflex. Rod durability is doubled: on paper, your rod replacement costs are cut in half. That is a real game changer for F2P progression.

VIP Transfer
Tier 1 · 1 pts in Charisma
Totally optional, but hard to give up once you have it.

Trader of the Year
Tier 2 · 2 pts in Charisma
Essential and very strong for this build. You earn 20% more on all fish sales at the merchant. If you play F2P intensively, that gold adds up fast: enough to unlock maps, aquarium sections, and start upgrading your lures.

Local Favorite
Tier 4 · 4 pts in Charisma
More situational with smaller day-to-day impact. NPC quests are limited to one per day per map, and the bonus is only +10% XP. You will need to grind to get full value, but at level 10, XP requirements are still manageable (they will not stay that way for long).
