Over two days, Slappy guides you through a series of tasks that gradually lead to Shredder. Each step introduces a different pace or mechanic, without ever rushing the process. Early objectives feel simple, but they build toward something more deliberate on the second day. By then, specific items and bait become necessary, especially the special Monster bait crafted by Slappy. The progression feels linear, yet each action contributes to preparing the final encounter, where timing, location, and preparation all come together.

Day 1

1 fish

Follow the buoys to reach an active fishing spot and catch one fish of any kind. The task is straightforward and sets the pace. After completing it, Slappy gives you a phone to track your catches.

Head to East Water to catch a spot-fin porcupinefish. The objective mainly checks your casting accuracy rather than difficulty.

2 largetooth flounder

In South Water, catch two largetooth flounder. Look for surface disturbances to locate fish schools, as Slappy suggests.

30 kg longtail tuna

At Tuna Bay, accumulate 30 kg of longtail tuna. This requires multiple catches rather than a single large one.

3 red starfish

In the shallows, collect three red starfish by letting your hook sink to the bottom.

Find a message in a bottle among floating debris in the western waters. Slappy will read it the next day.

Day 2

Retrieve the skull-marked chest near the eastern rocks using a cast and reel approach.

key with a skull

Pick up the skull-marked key from the seabed near the sunken platform. It is required to open the chest.

white tuna

Catch a white tuna in Tuna Bay using pink bait purchased with the diamonds given by Slappy.

kelp leaf

Collect a kelp leaf at the Coral Reef. It is the final component Slappy needs to craft the Monster bait.

shredder

Shredder appears north of the island in deep water or near the lighthouse. It feeds on Bonefish and can be located by bubbles and disturbed water. Note: even if Slappy says Shredder is only active at night, this is outdated. Shredder is now active both day and night, but the dialogue was not updated.
